Dear Sisters and Brothers,

The Diocese of Brooklyn has given us an outline of four stages in the reopening process for churches in Brooklyn and Queens.

Stage 1: Opening of Churches for private prayer and devotion, Funerals, Baptisms and Weddings (May 26th)
Stage 2: Limited Celebrations of Daily Mass (June 29th)
Stage 3: Limited Celebrations of Sunday Mass (July 4/5)
Stage 4: Celebration of First Holy Communion and Confirmation (No date has been set yet)

Brooklyn (Boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn) to celebrate Mass beginning June 29. Everyone is expected to wear mask when attending Mass, seating is limited to a max of 25% capacity AND with social distancing.

SUNDAY MASS OBLIGATION IS STILL SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FROM THE DIOCESE. HOWEVER, YOU ARE INVITED TO WATCH MASS ON THE DIOCESAN TELEVISION NETWORK NETTV TO REFLECT ON THE WORD OF GOD ON SUNDAYS.

It is strongly encouraged for those with weakened or compromised health to please stay at home.

Holy Communion is encouraged to be received by the hand.

Thank you for your patience and for your continued support to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.

God Bless!
